In December, Jake attended the intensive week-long training in Los Angeles, CA to become a CFS. What is the Certified Fastener Specialist™ designation? Developed in 1998 with guidance from the International Fastener Institute, the Certified Fastener Specialist™ (CFS) advanced technical training program is the most noteworthy measurement of technical aptitude for fastener professionals. The BTM Team set a goal to collect 222 lbs of canned food for Community Assistance Council KC this holiday season. The Community Assistance Council serves low-income residents of South Kansas City, Mo where the median income is 31% below the national average and all donations stay local. The BTM team exceeded that goal and collected 270 lbs, which was then matched by the company with an additional 273 lbs for a grand total of 543 lbs. “Help others without any reason and give without the expectation of receiving anything in return.”- Roy T Bennett
